I'm curious if anyone wants to sell there iPod Touch or knows where I can get one for less than $229?

Go to Apple's ipod refurb shop and you can get it for 180, which is what I'm doing. They replace the case and battery so it's basically almost BRAND NEW!
 
I would look on craigslist, and try to buy one from there, or arrange a trade. 🙂 That's how I got my iPhone.
