Hi all,

My internetconnection goes via the dsl modem that my internetprovider supplied. Its an fritz!box fon 7170 and its located in our basement. In our livingroom i have an popcorn hour a110 and i want to connect it to the internet. I want to use the airport extreme for that. I use the airport to connect to my network via wireless and i succeeded, light is green.

I connect my popcorn with a networkcable to a lanport of the airport extreme. the popcorn receives an IP adress but i cant go online. I see that the IP address has a different range than the IP range of my fritz!box so i think that is the problem. I tried to configure the popcorn hour with a manual configured ip address but it doesn't work also.

What can be the problem? Where do i need to look? I think it has sth to be with the airport extreme.

Update: When i connect my macbook with an ethernetcable to the airport i cant connect to internet. So the problem is between the airport and my dsl modem. I already reset my airport to factory settings and reconfigured. Light blinks green again. When i open my network preferences and change the tcp settings from dhcp to manually my internetconnection is lost. Where do i go wrong?

Thanks!
Daniel
