Well I was stupid enough to update to 10.5.7 two days before a video deadline.. yeah leave the comments about that until later! At least I used the combo update...
But anyway, since I did that Compressor will no longer compress anything and will just sit there with 'unknown time remaining' or sometimes I can get the clock to start ticking over but the progress bar never actually progresses with the CPU running at 0%.
I have tried fully trashing all preferences, even with 'Compressor Repair (http://www.digitalrebellion.com/compressor_repair.htm)' and no difference.
At the moment I have got around the problem by just rendering a ProRes422 Quicktime of the final edit and let DVD Studio Pro do the rendering instead - which ordinarily I wouldn't like to do.
Is this happening to anyone else? Any solutions?
