It should work, but it may not be up to the 'standards' of an Apple OEM battery in terms of cycle capacity and whatnot.

I see a few batteries out there that say it will work, but those batteries show 60wh/5000mah, while Apple's battery is 55wh/5200mah.

I think the mah is the capacity, but what's the wh?

It's the comparison of Milliamp-hours to Watt-hours. Amps are the current whereas Watts are the power. Watts= amps*volts. I don't see how a battery with a higher Wh rating can have a lower mAh rating unless it can't supply the voltage properly.

Maybe I'm missing something here.
