On Saturday 23 May 2009, the Doncaster Apple Store will hold a grand opening in Westfield Shoppingtown...

Ah I wish I could, msheldrick, being a Doncastrian myself. I'm busy that morning. Hope to get over there sometime tomorrow...

I went there at the grand opening... got 2 t-shirts and bought an Elgato EyeTV, lots of cheering and people and a new chant:

Also popped along and grabbed a t-shirt. :D

No purchases though, because I'd pre-paid my uni fees earlier in the morning, leaving me extremely broke...

I don't understand why people line up for these openings. It's not as if there's anything inside the store which you couldn't buy elsewhere already.

Plus, the majority of their third party products are WAY overpriced compared to online stores.
