Way to keep keyboard backlighting on in Vista?

Is there a way to keep the keyboard backlighting on full brightness all the time in Vista, as you can do in Mac OS X with Lab Tick?

I don't like the keyboard adjusting the illumination level automatically, and want it on full brightness at all times.
 
I doubt it. I don't see much software at all aimed at modifying how apple specific components work in Windows. Unfortunately for you, the ambient sensor would need to be covered all of the time. If you have it set to full brightness, I believe it will stay that way whenever the ambient sensor senses darkness.
