What is the battery life of a MacBook White 2009?

How good is the realistic battery life of the base MacBook White 2009 for both playing a game on Windows Boot Camp and just browsing the internet over WiFi?

If you're running Boot Camp, approximately 3 1/2 hours.

That's just under normal use. In gaming, <2 hours even depending on how demanding the game it.

I can get 4 1/2 hours if I turn off Airport and Bluetooth. I also turn down my screen's brightness level a notch or two.

This may not be something to brag about but I've never gotten more than 2 hours out of any PC laptop so I'm just tickled.

lol, it depends on the type of battery you get with your PC.

I have a 17 inch HP C2D which could run for 6 hours on low brightness with wireless still on. Regardless, I get like 5 minutes of battery life now because I abused the Lithium Ions beyond belief, but shes still a tank....low on fuel 😛

I get around 3 hours, and thats even browsing YouTube fullscreen videos.

This is a new battery from Apple.
