I just re-jailbroke/unlocked my iPhone 2G as a general refresh. Nothing like that fresh Jailbroken feeling.

Anyway, now safari will not load photos. I am running 2.2.1 on T-Mobile using APN: wap.voicestream.com. The internet works and all the internet features (mail, cydia, app store, etc.) are up and running. I've attached a screenshot of what happens when I try to pull up Google Images.

Thanks!

Because you are on GPRS, and would take too long to load any pictures over that.

Hence the iPhone simply stops and displays ? marks

I thought that too but I never had the issue before last night. I can only get gprs at work and I've never had any problems in the past. Is that a new feature on 2.2.1? I was running 2.1 before.

Perhaps, not all small changes are documented in a 2.1.0 to a 2.2.1 update.
