MAME OS X Users

What game pad do you folk use for MAME OS X? I keep reading the X Box controllers work but then some people say they don't..... This (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dual-Action-Gamepad-Refresh-PC/dp/B000IL2LSA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1242936417&sr=1-1) is the only one that Amazon specifically say is for Mac. Can anyone help me please? I use an iMac running OS X 10.4.11.

i tried for a while to get my xbox360 wireless to work with versions of mame for osx

there are drivers you can get and they do work for some software on osx but dont seem to work for the newer versions of mame - after some version number i forget what one they broke

but the xbox i think is a great hardware

in the end i gave up and now run mame and xbox controller on bootcamp

i know its sad but :o

I use a PS2 controller to USB adapter and an old PS1 pad, works just fine (though I haven't tried the analog sticks).
