I'm looking in to getting iSight with my just ordered 12" PB. First of all, I have a few questions concerning it:
1) Can you take still photos with the iSight and save them in standard digitial photo formats (JPEG etc)? Granted they'll be low resolution but it would be useful occassionally, especially on a portable.
2) While the iSight is targetted at videoconferencing, can you actually record what you shoot, save it in quicktime or mpeg format and then send it to people. In other words, can it be used a very cheap & ready digital video camera?
thanks in advance
