I just installed Battlefield 2 today and when it get the log in screen all the audio stops but I am still able to log in and join/create a server, but here is where the main issues starts... The game loads normally and once I'm in the game and I select my spawn point and spawn the game will either freeze or crash to the desktop. I updated the game to the latest official patch and reinstalled it twice, no luck. Anyone know whats causing the to happen?

the laptop i'm using is in my sig. thanks in advance.

Are you using the latest drivers from nVidia? They're on nVidia's site.

That would be my suggestion. And if those don't work, use the ones from laptovideo2go

I don't know. I've heard of this problem before under Battlefield 2. I just don't have enough information to outright say it's the drivers.

Hi, sorry, not to hijack your thread or anything, but what would be a good windows partition size if all i want to do is install and play battlefield 2?

i did that, nothing changed. And i did use the driver from laptopvideo2go still no change. I think its because the 9400m isn't fully supported by Battlefield 2, hopefully it is when the 1.5 patch is finished...
