I am looking for some tips on a book that I can buy to learn how to program Mac applications. Any ideas or thoughts?

Your best starting place would probably be the guides at the top of this forum.

Ok so you think that that doing this web based would be better? If so I will look.

The guide mentions a few books. One i think it omits is Kochan's "Programming in Objective-C", which people seem to like a lot, and the author is active on his own forums for the book and stops by this forum to answer questions as well.
