Cinema Display with Macbook pro

Is it possible to use multiple (2) cinema displays with a mac book pro? If so how exactly would this work?

I'd like to know if it is possible too. I think the only option I can think of is that your MacBook acts as one display and the LED ACD as the "2nd" one. I think that's why they're both so identical.
