Replacement Keyboard Modding

Hey, I have a replacement keyboard and was wondering whether anyone has connected their replacement macbook keyboard to a usb keyboard controller. I just took apart an old logitech controller, but the port will only fit for the one for the extra buttons, and I cant change the hardware encoded in the controller.

Does anyone have an idea how to do this?
