If all you do is burn files once in a while... the Finder will burn things for you. If you make alot of specialty disks (special formats other than Mac or Mac/PC) then Toast 6 is what you need. You can find many apps to burn what Toast does... but Toast has many advanced features, even MEPG2 encoding.

I've been using Toast since my first 2x CD-R drive and have never looked back.
