Problem with connectivity (iPhone-Airport-PC)

Hello, this is my first post in this forum and the reason I registered here, although I always check here for solutions. I am having a problem which is driving me crazy. I have an iPhone and an Aiport Express which is connected through ethernet to a Lan distributer or however it is called and then to the PC with Windows XP. I cant use apps such as remote or similar ones because itunes or the pc dont see the iPhone. The airport utility does see the iphone. And firewalls and options in the itunes and airport utility are all enabling it to work.

you probably need to put the express in "off (bridge mode)" under connection sharing on the internet settings page.

glad i could help

just make sure you are using security, as now anyone who joins your wireless network can access your PC. WPA is preferable over WEP. WEP can be easily cracked.
