Converting video files

Hey Guys,

I moved footage from my hard drive camera to my computer and I now have the video and audio separately. The video is in .MOD and the audio is in MOI. How could I fuse these two files together and then convert them to be able to be able to edit it.

What camera are you talking about?

What editing software do you wanna use, and which file format and codec?

Hasn't the camera's vendor included import drivers for some editing applications or software to transcode the video files?
Maybe you can have a look at the support page of the camera's vendor.
