well unfortunately there aint no aluminum mouses out there right now. The Kensington slimblades seem to be popular with the uMBs.

I like this Elecom mouse. (http://www.slashgear.com/elecom-mouse-m-d13ur-series-302693/)
Comes in red, black and silver.
Very handy when traveling.

MM's are cool but the right clicking kinda sucks if you wanna use it with Windows apps.

Minimalist... thats a hard one because the best one is probably the MM but man I hate that mouse. There is a rocketfish mouse thats close to a MM. http://www.rocketfishproducts.com/pc-115-3-rocketfish-bluetooth-wireless-laser-mouse.aspx
Personally, I use the Logitech VX laser. Its been a favorite of mine for a while, and does well on batteries.

This brings up a good question as to what minimalist means to the user. Hopefully the OP will chime in with their opinion.
IMHO, I think size has something to do with it. I was curious as to the size difference between the mouse that you mentioned and the Elecom M-D13ur (http://www2.elecom.co.jp/peripheral/mouse/m-d13ur/index.asp) mouse.
For comparison, Rocketfish to Elecom:
Height: 1.4" --> 1.14"
Width: 2.4" --> 2.17"
Depth: 4.4" --> 3.34"
Cubic inches: 14.78 --> 8.26
Weight: 2.4oz --> 2.0oz
Surprised at how much different they are in size.
Just some food for thought. :)

...vx nano or MS arc both come to mind... I like my v470 BT and my v450 Micro (receiver) units...

If you still want something that looks Apple-like, I suggest MacMice (http://www.mac-pro.com/Mac-Pro-Online-Store/Macmice). It's available in silver, too.
Targus (http://www.targus.com/us/formac/) also has some very nice selections

The older Apple Pro Mouse, the one before the Mighty Mouse. "Where's the button?"
It's still my favorite mouse.
