am switching to MB soon...
one question pop out...
is it possible to set the Mail program to receive mail from hotmail??
i know it is possible for yahoo and gmail...
how bout hotmail??
or are there any other solutions to this issue??

You should be able to, as Hotmail has recently started POP3 access, which is what clients such as the Mail app use to access your emails. Just make sure POP3 is enabled in your Hotmail account before you try and set up Mail, though.

I don't know the answer, but you would probably get it faster by just searching GOOGLE.

However, I'd assume it would be enabled automatically.
