Hi,
I have a Mid 08 white macbook which has 2ghz c2d, 4GB RAM, 320GB hard drive and the Intel X3100 graphics.
My parents have just brought me a Sony HDR-XR105e hard disk camcorder. It shoots in full HD 1920x1080.
I plan on using it to record my daughter growing up including school plays, holidays etc.
I will be editing the footage with Imovie 09 so no major editing.
I've put a small 6 minute clip together and exported it using SD quality. It's going to take about an hour to export. Is this the only place where the whitebook will become slow.
IE am i just going to have to wait longer to export the finished movie than i would on a macbook pro or imac for example.
Will the whitebook be up to the task of the video's that i;m going to throw at it?
Storage isnt an issue as i have a few 1TB hard drives i can use to store the content.
