I have a white 2.0 MacBook w/80gb hd, 1gb ram, GMA 950, Combo Drive in like new condition. It's going to cost 120 or so to upgrade the ram and add a 320 hd so I've been considering getting a new unibody MB. Can someone tell me if there is a company that will take a MB like mine as a trade in when buying a new MB. Otherwise what might be the best way to sell the one I have and what might be a good price?

Thanks S1

I agree with the above poster. I sold my white MacBook on craigslist, and bought a 2.0ghz unibody. I couldn't be happier with the upgrade.

Ditto for craigslist. Make sure that you specify it's for a local sale only. Scammers will try anything to get you to ship your machine off to Timbuktu...

yeah also be prepared to receive lots of low balling offers as well.

Very cool. On a semi-related note, is there a way to access the classifieds here without the full number of required posts? I've been a long-time member (2002? Earlier?) but I don't feel like spamming the boards to peddle my wares.
Talk to the mods via PM, but I doubt it.
