Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5H11 Safari/525.20)

http://www.namecheap.com have always been good for me. But if it's an unusual extension you'll always pay a lot more than .com, .net and .org.

i know that a .com can be alot, but i want a .me and godaddy wants to charge $20-$25 and i think that is a rip off and that is without the hosting

No, you're confused. .com, .net and .org are the cheap domains. The others are the ones that can become expensive. Particularly some of the newer ones. If you want a .me domain, you're going to have to pay that for it. :(
