ethernet adapter for Ipod Touch?

Is there an ethernet adapter for the Ipod Touch? I was traveling 2 in Egypt for two weeks and all of the hotels had free internet in the room (only ethernet cable) but was $35-$50/day if I wanted wifi. Suffice it to say, I just went outside the hotel and picked up somebody's wifi signal.

If there is a adapter, which one? cost? etc?

+1 for the Airport Express, if you could find a ethernet adapter for the iPod Touch and sure it would be more $$$ than buying an Airport Express,
