iOS Do you need a iPhone or iTouch to submit your app

I lost my iPhone and my app is just about done do I need a iPhone or iTouch to submit it.

You don't *need* one. But the simulator isn't really good for a full test. Only quick and dirty,

But I will be able to a less submit it I'm not doing a game or nothing that big just a simple its been running pretty good on the simulator I just want to make sure I can still submit it without the iPhone or iTouch.

Just because it runs in the simulator doesn't mean it'll run on the device. But in most cases you should be fine.

However, keep in mind that any apps submitted must run on a device with 3.0b5 or it'll get rejected.

I know I have the 3.0 simulator I just dont have $400 to get a new iPhone rite now, guess I can try to find me a used iTouch on craigslist or some where.

Perhaps you could try soliciting some beta testers.

Expereince on testing on device is totaly different. Don't forget on mac you are working on a faster processor , so many delay won't be caught. Also you can check for memory leak only by connecting the device.

It is possible to submit an app without owning a device.

However, be prepared for a possible rejection, as there are problems and bugs that may appear only when running an app on a device (and, more recently, a device running the 3.0 beta as well).
