fontface.com (http://fontface.com) has lots of free fonts, although they have some extremely annoying ads on their site (hit mute).

there's DaFonts (www.dafont.com) for some free ones or MyFonts (http://www.myfonts.com) for paid ones.

Abstract Fonts (http://www.abstractfonts.com)

Free fonts. I love the categories that they are divided up into.
And you can browse categories within categories. Very useful.
Searching for fonts will bring up commercial fonts and free fonts.

If you will be sending anything to commercial press, Linotype (http://www.linotype.com/) is very good. Costs, too.
