macOS Packing up a C++ project

Im looking to send my friend a C++ project that i just finished. Is there any way I can send like a .exe or something like a .jar file, he has no knowledge of programing so he would not use a compiler to run it.

If it's a console-type application, you can simply send him the resulting binary. If it's a GUI application, look for the .App-folder (but if you just finished a GUI application, I'm sure you knew that 🙂 )
