In VirtualBox, in both my Windows XP and Ubuntu Linux virtual machines, for no apparent reason, when I shut them down, they go to the Aborted state instead of the normal Powered Off state. They boot just fine if I restart them though. Could this be caused by some virtual machine setting? I tried disabling 3D acceleration in both VMs - that seemed to help, but didn't fully solve the problem.
