My iBook has recently become severely tied to the power cord. So I decided on getting a new battery and saw Apple's price of $126. Is there any place I can get a cheaper battery for my iBook or is Apple the only option.
Thank you for your help in advance.

Actually, I have been looking for a while, and while there a lot of people out there selling batteries, very few seem to be a bargain.
I did find, however, this one:
ComputerGiants.com (http://www.computergiants.com/items/one_item.asp?part=71148&cat=99&subsubcat=1152)
They have batteries for the 12" series of iBooks, but I do not know if they are the 3000+ mA batteries, or the newer 4000 mA versions. The one in my 600 was a 2700mA, so for me, either will give me longer life than I had before.
The other thing is... I have never ordered from these guys before, so YMMV.
Let us know who you ordered from, and what the total was. I am sure that that would be some very useful information.
Max.
