alarm clock and display

can anyone recommend a free alarm clock to use that will play a song or something? i am a deep sleeper and enjoy having my old laptop blasting music when i need to wake up.

also, how do i check what display i have?

online alarm clock haha i use that all the damn time, just onlinealarm.com i think or google it and turn the volume all the way up its so annoying waking up to it.

http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/ipod_itunes/alarmclock.html or http://metaquark.de/aurora/ for the alarm clock. I quite like the second, but be sure to read instructions.

to check display:

1 in finder type colorsync to open the utility
2 click profiles
3 open the one thats avtive for your display (typically color lcd)
4 scroll to number 13 in the list that opens and click it

This is what I do and I hope it helps

Step 1 open Ical

Step 2 make a new event File/new event or n

Step 3 double click on it to open the options windows

Step 4 Set the time you want to wake up

Step 5 Tell I cal to open a file it should make a thing and chose under file the song you want to hear then your set
