Just looking for a basis for comparison on CPUs, PSUs and memory since I just put mine in a new desk and didn't think to baseline it.
EDIT: Under load, sorry.

There's a thread somewhere with like 200 posts of temps. Here's mine from yesterday tho:

Hmmm… that idling, or under load?

That's with PS loaded and Idle @ ~ 10% CPU, Safari with 18 tabs and 3 single tabbed windows @ ~90% CPU, and a buttload of tiny BG processes running probably combined @ ~ 8% CPU.
Basically idle but with Safari acting up a little. :)

Bozz, a good time to talk her into to more computers, and/or bigger/more monitors I say! :D
Anyway here's my system under a 100% load for 14 minutes. Rendering a scene, all 4 HDDs going very strong under an HDD benchmarker:

Here are the temps (in Celsius) for both 2007 3.0GHz Clovertown MP on the left, and 2008 2.8GHz Harpertown MP on the right. Average ambient temp for both MPs are around 26 to 29 degrees Celsius.
The Clovertown MP is loaded 6 cores on SETI, while the Harpertown MP maxed out all 8 cores on SETI, both running 24/7. As you can see, the 2007 Clovertown is one hot MP, without SMCFanControl, the procs can even reach close to 100 before the the default SMC sets the fan speed bringing them down to 90.
