Geo-Defense help

Holy crap .. this is the hardest game on my iPhone I've ever played, 100000x harder than the popular TD games like Fieldrunners and Sentinel.

I'm trying to beat Map 2, 4, 9, 11, and 12 on Medium and for me they're impossible. IMPOSSIBLE!

Can someone who has beaten these give me some tips? I keep trying different strategies and failing. Been playing for hours now lol.

great game... there is a big thread on Touch Arcade where people have posted screenshots on how they beat the levels (although that seems like cheating to me). Sorry, I'm too lazy to search for it. :D

Well I managed to beat a couple of the levels, but I'm down to 3 more for Medium. It's ridiculous yet so fun -- I have to play the same map over about 50 times ruling out this strategy and that strategy until I'm left with the perfect strategy that makes it all too easy.

I must have played hard level 1 50+ times before I beat it. I would get sooo close only to have the last guy sneak in with just a sliver of energy.

im stuck myself on the medium 4th map and forth
anyone have any tips on map 4 medium and so on?

i spent my last 30 min on this map, yet, so addictive :p

Yeah I managed to beat all the Medium maps but I haven't beaten the first Hard map yet, I think it's called The Eye. I tried like 20 times and couldn't do it so then I pretty much haven't played it since then.

I'll go back to try eventually. Even the Medium levels were damn hard!

Ive beat every level in the game and it can be tricky but not impossible. Honestly its a strategy game-- if one thing doesnt work try something else. It may take a few tries but not 50!!! Since a few of you are stuck on level 4 medium the thing that works for me is upgrade. I had all 10 lives when i won. Good luck!

What I love about this game is the fast pace of action. And the fact that you cant just place a bunch of towers and then upgrade now n then while the game plays for itself. I remember when I tried fieldrunners for the first time, I was playing for a couple of hours and dozed off a little later. Only to wake up couple of hours later and find that the game was still playing itself even though I hadnt even done anything for 2 hours. Only 10 lives had been lost in those 2 hours with another 10 still remaining:eek::eek:. Try dozing off with GeoDefence for even 2 minutes and you`d have already lost the game.

On the fourth medium map, Sniper Towers are your friend. Build huge numbers of cannon towers lining the trenches, with at least one or two shock towers scattered in each row to slow down the faster enemies. Build and upgrade a Laser Tower just to the left of your home base area to take care of stragglers. Don't forget a vortex tower, as the powered-up shots are priceless.

I notice occasionally the blue towers will have arrows pointing north east... And they lock in position. This is a great thing if only I knew how I was doing it. However, since I don't, sometimes they lock aimed in the wrong direction. Can someone share with me how this is done? Can it be released once you lock it? Thanks for your help.

Once your lasers are at Level 2 you can double-tap them to lock them and double-tap them to unlock them :)

I've just finally finished all the medium levels and attempting the HARD levels, wanted to get some practice as GeoDefense Swarm is due for release any day now and it is going to be even better!!!

I have beaten every level save the eye. All easy, all medium and all hard save one. I will tell u the trick right now...laser towers, spam them across the maps until u can place no more then upgrade them as fast as u can. On certain maps combine this with well placed shock and absorbing towers mazes out asap. The game is very easy once u perfect ur placement tactics. Though this is the one map that this tactic will not work on, I get to wave 10 only to die every time. Missle and green towers work the best it seems but advice is welcome. Luck to all.

I beat them all except the first hard map called "The Eye". Thist map is so hard I don't get why they didn't make it the last hard map. You only get one life and I just can't beat it no matter how I approach it. I have come close a few times always fail.

I thought I would just pop in here and celebrate... I beat EVERY level on Geo-Defense! WOOOHOOOO!!!!
