Level 3 cache?

I know some of the old powerbooks had a L3 cache, do the new ones have this and if so which ones? Sorry but I just can't seem to find the answer to this anywhere.

No L3 cache in the new machines.

The 7447 processors have better benchmarks than the old 7455 with L3 cache.

Since this is the case, deleting L3 cache has no adverse impact and reduces cost.

aye, they doubled the L2 cache, which is better.

it would be even better with double L2 and double L3 and triple the bus speed, but that is too much to ask for.

but yeah, this generation has more level 2 and no level 3

L3 gets hot. the new revision of powerbooks run cooler, and perform better without the L3. Sure they'd perform even better with it, but I don't want the hair on my legs to catch fire!
