Hi all... I just began looking around, and fidgeting with iDVD

As for my first DVD, I want to compile some of my favorite tv shows onto DVD (Practice and the Friends Finale..)

I know that iDVD won't let you import movie files, other than *.mov.. but no sweat, I have QT Pro

Now, I have several options: I can convert the EyeTV program *.mpg files to: MPEG-4, QT Movie, DivX, and some others...

Should I simply export it to QT MOVIE? (as I know iDVD will accept it) or should I export it to QT Movie?

The DVD would be GREAT if it played on a regular dvd player...
Any input would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hhehe.. why did I even purchase QT Pro?
I just saw that EyeTV can convert the recorded mpg movie files to QT movie files. Is this possibly the easiest route?
