How do I get my Canon Powershot SD400 to show up as a plain-old USB SD card reader in Leopard?

(I'm trying to use PhotoRec to recover some deleted photos off of a SD card. While programs like Image Capture can read and copy pictures from the Camera directly, I need the camera to show up as a plain USB SD card so that I can access it from Photo Rec. Thanks for any help on this.)
 
I had to use canon's software to sort of be able to use it in the manner that you're looking to use it in.
 
I searched the Canon website, but I couldn't find any drivers for Mac OS X. Where did you get the drivers?
