I'm actually posting from it now! I found it on Craigslist and it came with a case, and a few other accessories. It has 8.6, with several add-ons to give it a OS X theme. It has a kicker 4 speaker system, and a 12 inch display. iTunes 1.1 works on it as well, and Reason and several other applications were installed on it. I've been trying to get it online, and just found the right setting for ethernet. It works surprisingly well on the internet for a 180MHz processor. Anyone else have one of these?

Hey, I just recently got two Powerbook 3400c off of Craigslist. One of them has OS 8.1 and the other OS 9.1. I am having a hard time getting them on the internet. How did you do it? I plugged the ethernet cable in and set it to ethernet in the Appletalk program but still no internet. Thanks for your help.

Make sure in the TCP/IP control panel you're set for Ethernet and not something else. They typically default back the the modem/printer ports.
