How much do you think I should pay for PowerBook 15" 867Mhz,
512 Mb , 40 GB , in perfect condition?

hmm... it's pretty inferior to even the current ibooks in most ways, though it does have some advantages. I don't think I'd pay more than 1k.

do you think I could run After effects/Photoshop/freehand/flash on that computer or should I go with a newer powerbook?

This machine is still worth roughly 1200. There is a decent performance differential considering the Ti series had an L3 cache, where the Al's don't. This kinda cripled the Als. The Ti series are great machines overall.
