Hi,
My whitebook is making a buzzing sound that is coming from under the F4 and F5 keys, it can be heard a little with no background noise but when i put my ear close i can hear it much clearer. Does anyone elses macbook do this or does anybody have any idea what it is and should i take it to the apple store?

It could be the fans, they idle at 1800 RPM to keep the CPU somewhat from overheating.

No, i turned the fans to 6000 rpm and i can still hear it of course its somewhat muffled by the noise of the fan

any other ideas?

Yes. Get a Desert Eagle .50-- shoot your computer-- get a new computer.

I tried that and nothing happened, th noise got worse and i have no F4, F5 "e" and "r"keys......
