So I have a Macbook Pro and its fairly new (bought about two years ago). I bought the game, and the installer will not pop up. I read that you need a mac 10.5.7 or higher, but my version is 10.4.11. Is there anyway I can update my mac so that it can run the Sims 3 on it or was i screwed out of 50 bucks? :(

And you might want to wait a week -- Apple might release Snow Leopard next week.

I dont think it is supposed to come out so soon. Maybe at the WWDC they may reveal a release date. But that is not certain. Speculation is that it will be before the end of the year.

Snow leopard is the next version of OS X. It is touting better performance over new features. There is no confirmed release date yet though....
