Download and update to my iphone?

I plug in my iPhone and it asks me if i want to download an update. Should i?

It's jailbroken and unlocked with the Gevey 3G turbo sim.

will this cause me to have an unjailbroken phone and the turbo sim to be useless?


ALSO, my internet isn't working, do any of you have any idea what i should do?
 
You'll definetelly lose your jailbrake and will be back to stock firmware.
And Im not sure if the turbo sim will still function.

okay.. so i wont update it then. ahh hopefully when 3.0 comes out that one will be unlockable with the new baseband *crosses fingers

I changed my internet plan today to work with the iphone and i'm still unable to access the internet. is that because of the turbo sim? or is just taking a really long time for the internet package to switch over?
 
Do you have T-mobile? You need to make sure your apn is correct. Mine is : username: epc.tmobile.com
password: (blank)
 
i trie wap internet2 and none of them give me any internet access. I haven't tried epc.tmobile.com though so i'm going to give that a try right now. do you know of any other adresses that work?

the update says its a 2.2.1 update. I'm running 2.2.1 with baseband 2.30.03 i'm confused... why is it asking me to update? my bootloader thing is 5.09 as well.

it goes on the APN part right? because you said its the username? now i'm confused ;[
 
Did you try calling Tmobile?
They will be able to give you the best APN and rest of the settings for your area.
And they're pretty good with helping out folks with Iphones.
