Just a little question regarding my macbook. When I use for the first time the machine, should I first charge it and then use it or can I directly use it while charging the macbook? I know the calibrating thing... But I can't find anything about this.
Cheers!

Always top off your battery from AC before using it the first time.

Is this correct? I have just bought a unibody MacBook so I was wondering. How do you know whether it is totally charged and how long does it take?

so I first charge the macbook until the light is green, then I use it (while being plugged in and calibrate the battery!

To my knowledge, using the computer while it's charging should make no difference.

I have been using my unibody macbook straight away after receiving it, keeping it plugged in while using it, and after 7 months i'm still at 100% of health. So it's fine it makes no difference at all, it's not like a mobile phone.
