Explorer Installation failed

After downloading Internet Explorer 5.2.3 I could not install it:
The message I got was: the file has 119 MB (!!!) and there is not enough space available on your computer!
But the whole Explorer has maximum 13 MB !
What to do?
 
Have you restarted your computer lately? Try emptying the trash, as it can accumulate gigs of files.
