no it has a giga desighns blue led fan in it it has only got to 60 when running a fractal program and when i was installing some stuff.

Iused two copper coins as contact plates with some generic heatsink compound

it froze on me which was odd i'll test it for a while longer

Copper Coins like pennies???? I would reccomend lapping those down until they're perfectly smooth with the processor. 60 isn't unbearably hot in the OC world, but I don't think you want to strive for it, especially if you have gaps like that in there.

copper is fine..

but using two pieces of copper means you have 4 contact points in transferrence of the heat. i seriously think you are asking for a core meltdown.

try finding a single chunk of copper and then lap it as the other user commented.

good luck
