Travian - an online browser game

Hi all,

Has anyone tried playing this? I'm finding it HUGELY addictive at the moment and am constantly on it on my iPhone, and also at home on the MacBook!

I've never played it myself, but whenever I walk into the computer lab at the university I work at here in Saudi, I see all the browsers suddenly minimise. The students are crazy about this game, and have been for the last year or so. Actually, I didn't realise it was also available in English, I thought it was just a localised Arabic on-line game.

I think they have servers for different countries, i know there's a few EU ones, and now know there's some for Saudi. :)

Played it for a couple months about three years ago. It's time-intensive.

It is very time intensive, yeah.

I didn't realise it had been around for that long - i only started playing back in October i think.

The game has been around since 2004. The third version started in 2006.

I wasted an entire summer on it 2 years ago. I so regret the lost time now. I was really good. I also spent 8 hours a day on it, and I'll never get that time back.
