View Full Version : trying to reinstall app but says I will be charged again(on mac)

I want to reinstall Crash bandicoot but on my iphone it's telling me to reinstall from my mac(I have 3.0) so I try it on my mac and it's telling me it will charge me for it. This is a new mac and i had deleted it off my old mac, surely my itunes account should new i had the game before???


edit, it's showing up on my purchase history??

It says that, but it's lying. It really isn't going to charge you.

EDIT: My apologies, I thought you were trying to download it on your computer. It WILL charge you again.

Re-download it in iTunes on your computer for free.

They seem to have implemented a new system to break some of the ability for people to illegally share things.

These messages say that you have to either download the App on your computer or re-buy it on the phone. Just download it on your computer and will work fine.

your confusing me now:confused::confused:
i want to re download on my mac but it's saying it will charge me.
just making sure it will not, im aware of the 3.0 recharge.

Try seeing if you can write a review for it on you mac. If you can, then the computer knows you own it and you shouldn't be charged. If you can't write a review, then the computer thinks you don't own it and you will be charged.
