I read an article in a computer magazine that M$ will increase thier prices on thier products and introduce software insurance. It said most businesses will have to pay 80-102% more for M$ products. Some companies are looking into linux due to it being free and all.

Could this be a good time for apple to make a super cheap iMac (lower the prices of the classics) and target them at the business market. Mac's are easier to use than linux so they wouldn't have to spend lots of money on training?

What do you think?

...are too hard to maintain (hardware-wise, not software) because they're all in one.

there is already the eMac. remember - e is for everybody. there is no reason why businesses couldn't use the eMac.
Macs too hard to maintain? they're usually pretty reliable, and whenever a part fails, Apple usually replace it no questions asked. Macs would be awesome for businesses.
