My ipod touch 2g is showing as an unknown device on my computer desktop, windows does not recognize it and itunes doesn't read it. Does anyone know of a usb driver download that will get my ipod touch to be recognized so i can reset it in itunes?

first of all ignore above post, if you cant help don't post a useless reply 
remove itunes, apple mobile device support and bonjour via control panel then unplug your iPod then run the iTunes setup again and see if that fixes it
