Have a 3G iphone, will SIM work in an N97?

Given the pricing structure on the new 3GS, I'm thinking of getting an N97. Will I be able to use my 3G sim card and pop it into the N97 and not be handicapped using it's features? Thanks.

I'm using my iphone 3G sim in an unlocked N95 with no problems on ATT. Getting 3G signal on the N95 too.

I have the same setup but it says edge instaed of 3g on my N97

how did you get the 3G working?

My wife has the N97 and I'm able to use my iPhone SIM on it. Just need to make sure you have your mobile connection to UMTS or dual mode and input the APN.
