I just sold my MB aluminum 2.0. I am glad I only purchased the base model last October and will be purchasing the new base MacBook Pro soon (I love how that sounds).
See you guys and gals in the MBP threads. :)

Haha, yeah that sounds really good, but I really want that new screen (I have 9C89) and that new battery. Firewire doesn't hurt either since I am thinking of buying a new external drive.

9C89 re% !!
The screen is really the only thing that gets to me...but oh well; I rarely ever watch movies on the laptop, I'll usually hook it to my LCD-TV for that.

Yeah it doesn't bother me either, after calibration you get most of the "wash-out" gone and it looks great. I have never used firewire before, so I don't really care for it, but it would be nice to have just in case I do decide to get a FW external drive.

Yeah I use my Dell 2709W for my movies. Sitting 2 feet away makes it seem so huge. :D

Wow, good point. The mods need to figure out what to do here. This is kind of sad. Where do I post? :(
I plan on getting the 13" macbook pro sometime this month.

LOL good point. I'm totally fine with a USB drive, since that is what I use right now. And I honestly doubt I'll find a buyer for my MB anytime soon, so I guess I'm stuck with my current MB, which is already plenty for me. I just would love that battery and the new screen. Doing normal things are fine, but if I'm watching movies in bed or something, the poor contrast levels start to really show.

Well I guess it will be less crowded here so that could be a good thing. On the other hand the 2.53Gz MBP sure does look good! Oh well atleast I got the 9CA8 screen. I wonder how much better the new screen is?
