No. That battery is integrated in the new 13" Unibody Macbook Pros, and it is not user replaceable and likely very different than the batteries in the current UniMBs.

Funny (though this is probably just a fluke), I bought my macbook aluminum yesterday, and while I had airport and bluetooth off, it told me I had 7 and a half hours left while brightness was half way. Though I'm assuming the new ones will be roughly 7 with airport on.

I get ~3.5-4 with my UMB 2.0ghz, with the rated "5 hour" battery. I'd wager 5hrs will be the norm (screen 1/2 or more up, wifi on, actively being used) with the new built-in unit.

I highly doubt it will be soldered. You probably pull off the back panel and unplug it.

I've read some rumors that it may be upgradeable via your local Apple store genius or if you send it in... Think about it, if your current UMB battery dies, computer isn't dead... Apple must have a way to swap the batteries out pretty easily. I don't see any physical differences between the new UMB Pro or the old UMB.

That's really it from what we've seen so far. The inside could have been shuffled around too to make room for the battery, but we won't know until ifixit or somebody else does a tear-down.

If the current UMB battery dies, you buy a new one (seeing how it's removable) ;) If it dies on the 13" UMBP, they disconnect it's contacts and attach a new one.
