2.26 uMBP vs. 2.4 uMB

Anyone else having a hard time deciding between the new 2.26 and the old 2.4?

The new 2.26 is ~ $50 more after taxes and the edu discount, but you get a free iTouch (which I’d sell)

However, the 2.4 is faster and has a bigger HD. I don’t need FW or SD really.

Decisions, decisions….

Yea the battery has me leaning towards the 2.26

Plus I think the "Pro" at the end will help with the resale value if I want to sell it in 2 years or so

Better screens, larger battery, FW, etc etc. Yeah the 2.4 unibody from late 2008 just got smoked.

For me, the $50 is worth buying the newer model. Go for it!

The 2.0/2.4 UMB if produced may/early june '09 has the improved screen too.
